A calm, premium spa treatment room

Rooms, Chairs & Equipment: Every resource, booked right.

Map your rooms, chairs and equipment to the services that need them, and Idle auto-assigns the right resource to every booking. Two clients never land on the same chair, and one machine never has two people waiting.

At a glance

Idle maps your rooms, chairs and equipment to the services that need them, then auto-assigns the right resource to every booking, so you never double-book a treatment room or leave two clients waiting on one machine.

Map every resource to the services that need it.

Build a library of your rooms, chairs and equipment once, then set the rules for which service needs which space and which machine. A facial needs the room and the device, a cut just needs a chair, and Idle holds that knowledge so your front desk does not have to.

One resource library

List every treatment room, styling chair and machine in one place, so your whole team works from the same picture.

Service-to-resource rules

Tell Idle which service needs which room, chair or equipment, and it reserves all of them together every time.

The right resource, assigned on every booking.

When a booking comes in, Idle assigns the room, chair and equipment it needs automatically, alongside the staff member. If anything that service requires is already busy, that slot is not offered, so a room or machine is never double-booked and a booking is only confirmed when everything it needs is free.

Auto-assign on every booking

Each appointment reserves the right room and equipment the moment it lands, with no one having to check by hand.

Conflict prevention built in

Idle holds a resource for the booking that claims it, so two appointments can never grab the same space at once.

Two clients, one room, and no way to know in advance.

Two clients, same room

A double-booked treatment room means someone is sent away or kept waiting while the room is turned around in a hurry.

One machine, two people waiting

When a single device is booked twice, both clients sit idle and your schedule backs up for the rest of the day.

Which room is free, in your head

Juggling which room and chair is open from memory works until it does not, and the mistakes always land in front of a client.

A client checking out at a calm salon front desk after a multi-service visit

Multi-service visits, split across the right rooms.

A visit with several services is split across the right rooms and the right people, in the order you choose. The client books and arrives once, while Idle sequences each service into the correct space with the correct staff member, so nothing clashes and nobody waits on a room that is still busy.

Sequenced in the order you choose

Set how a multi-service visit should flow and Idle lines each service up across the right rooms and stations.

Right rooms, right people

Each service in the visit lands with the staff member who can do it and the space it needs, with no manual coordination.

Everything in your resource allocation

Map your space once and let Idle protect it on every booking, with deeper customisation whenever you want it.

Resource allocation FAQ

Can Idle stop two bookings from using the same room?

Yes. Idle treats every treatment room, chair, and machine as its own resource and holds it for the booking that has it. The moment one booking claims a room for a slot, no other appointment can take that room at the same time, so two clients are never sent to the same space.

Does Idle assign equipment automatically?

Yes. You link each piece of equipment to the services that need it once, and from then on every booking that needs that machine reserves it automatically alongside the staff member and the room. No one has to remember which service ties up which machine.

Can one service need more than one resource?

Yes. A single service can require a room and a machine and a chair together. Idle reserves all of them for the slot, and if any one of them is busy, that time is not offered, so a booking is only confirmed when everything it needs is actually free.

What happens with multi-service visits?

A visit with several services is split across the right rooms and the right people in the order you choose. The client books and arrives once, while Idle sequences each service into the correct space with the correct staff member behind the scenes.

Never double-book a room again.

We will map your rooms, chairs and equipment with you, set the rules, and get every booking assigning itself. Free onboarding, no setup fee.
